The Security Department at UF Scripps manages access to our buildings. We are usually the first responder in any type of emergency occurring on campus. Our security officers will respond, and if required, coordinate the response with the Jupiter Police, Fire or Paramedics. The Security Department may also activate the campus Emergency Response Team.
Our security staff patrol all buildings. We investigate thefts and other incidents. We act as a liaison with state and local police agencies. We are the custodians of lost and found items, and we are here to assist. If you’d like an escort through the parking lot, need help unlocking rooms, or even recharging your vehicle’s dead battery, we’re here to help. We supply parking decals, offer special event assistance and security audits on request.
If you find that a crime has occurred on campus, you should notify us immediately so that we may work with the Jupiter Police Department.
